Tips

The school-aged children love to shuck the corn.

Break the cobs into 2-3 pieces before cooking.

Any cobs left-cut the corn off and freeze.

Cooked and un-cooked, shucked cobs freeze well.

After removing the kernels from the cob, the cob can be used in soups/stews to thicken and add corn flavor (just pull out the cob before serving).
